It was great having Amy and Brian at our place for a few nights. We got to show them around Fukuoka and Kumamoto, and they brought us a large supply of Stumptown coffee. We caught them soon after their arrival from Portland and made them accompany us to Kumamoto Castle, the shrine and temple at Dazaifu, and dinner with our friend Yamaguchi-sensei. We were both really relaxed to have friends from home here.
